About Woodbury Earth Day

The  mission of Woodbury Earth Day is to:

1. Provide an event that allows local business to showcase products and services that allow for a sound environment and support a sustainable lifestyle.G
2. Gather a community who share in a vision of how to live a healthful and wholesome life, and therefore mutually support each other’s mission.
3. Consciously select the highest quality products and services which are healthy for people, environmentally sound and support a sustainable lifestyle.
4. Create awareness in the community about the values, philosophy and information needed to live a healthy and wholesome life.
5. Actively encourage the sustainable production of local goods and services  by seeking out local businesses that meet the a strict set of standards which include those addressed above.

April 27, 2013 will mark the 19th annual Earth Day celebrated in Woodbury, CT, and this will be the second year it will be brought to you by the Woodbury Business and Economic Development Council, and sponsored in part by New Morning Market.   The event this year will take place at Hollow Park, from 11:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.
