Volunteers Make A Difference At Woodbury Earth Day

January 22, 2020

Volunteers are a vital component in making the 2020 Earth Day Celebration a success! We are seeking Event Day Volunteers for the following roles: set-up, vendor check-in, grounds crew, stage assistants, information ambassadors, arts and crafts, recycling outreach, clean-up, and photography. Volunteers are asked to attend a 30 minute volunteer training session prior to the event and to commit to a minimum of 3 (three) hours of volunteering during the course of the the Earth Day event. With this commitment, volunteers will receive our sincere gratitude and a very cool T-shirt to wear during your shift and keep. Volunteers are expected to arrive at least 10 minutes before their shift to check-in at the Volunteer/Information Tent and get their T-shirt. Volunteers are also expected to work for the full duration they have committed to serving. Volunteers are expected to act in a mature and responsible manner, as they represent both the Pomperaug River Watershed Coalition and the Town of Woodbury.

Please complete the Woodbury Earth Day Volunteer Application to sign up. It's quick and easy to fill out. If you have any questions you may email us. We look forward to hearing from you! Thank you!
